 LES COINDRIES COTTAGE & GITES BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Advertisement accuracy

Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that the advertising material is accurate at the time of publication, we cannot be held responsible for changes or matters outside our control.  All information is given in good faith, but no warranties are made regarding information provided, either written or oral.

Prices

The price of the individual property is inclusive of all electricity, gas and water. Bookings are for a minimum of 3 nights.  All bed linen and towels are provided. 

Deposit / Balance Payments

€200.00 deposit non-refundable deposit is required on booking, with the balance payment due 4 weeks prior to arrival. 

Cancellations / Refunds

It is strongly recommended that you take out insurance to protect against the risk of cancellation from the time of booking and for medical, baggage cover, COVID 19 etc.

·       €200.00 deposit is non-refundable for cancelled bookings. 

If the booking has to be cancelled due to Government legislation regarding COVID 19 travel restrictions, it maybe carried forward for a future booking made within 12 months, subject to availability.

·       Cancellation by the guest for any other reason will not be refunded or carried forward.

·       Should a property become unavailable for some reason (such as fire or flooding) on the day stated, every attempt will be made to relocate guests.  If this is not possible, all payments previously received will be refunded, but no further liability will fall upon the Owners.

Arrival/Departure Times

Arrival is from 16h00 and departure 10h00 on the last day (late departures can be arranged, but may incur an additional charge). 

If you expect to arrive after 19h00 please telephone on 00 33 (0)5 49 20 07 23 00 (0)780 13 43 56 and let us know your expected time of arrival.

Owners Liabilities

The Owners accept no responsibility for personal injury to, or death of, any guests, or loss of or consequential loss or damage to their property, or for other matters over which the negligence or wilful default of the Owner.

Your responsibilities

·       The property will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival according to our cleaning policy (available on request and in our house book). 

·       Cleaning equipment and products are available for your use during your holiday. We ask you to leave the property in a clean and tidy state on departure. 

·       Please report any problems/breakages/damage immediately in order that it can be rectified as quickly as possible.  

·       Please recycle your waste by placing it in the yellow and black bags located in the cupboard under the kitchen sink.

·       Recycle your glass bottles by placing them in the container located by the gate

·       A laundry room is available for guest use, at cost of €5.00 per wash  

·       There is a no smoking policy in all properties.  

·       Please bring the garden cushions in at the end of the day.

Occupancy

Each property has its maximum occupancy (see below) over occupancy is not available.

Le Petit Coindries Cottage               Maximum of 6 persons    (2 persons using sofa bed)

Le Tuffeau                                     Maximum of 4 persons

Le Pressoir                                  Maximum of 2 adults    +2 children using sofa bed

Le Puit (open plan family gite)         Maximum of 4 adults    

Swimming Pool – Open May to September

·       Pool is available from 10h00 – 21h30. 

The pool has a continuous depth of 1.5m throughout and is fully lit. 

If you would like to use the pool outside of normal hours please ask the Owners. 

·       Please use the swimming towels provided in the cottage/gite (or your own towels). Do not use the towels from the bathroom.

·       Children MUST BE supervised at all times.

·       Please use the solar shower before entering the pool. 

·       Do not dive, bomb or make unnecessary splashing.

·       Dogs are only permitted at the pool if there are no other guests using the area at the time

·       No glass or china is permitted in the pool area please use the plastic ones provided in your cottage/gite

·       Be careful when using pool items such as umbrellas and sun loungers and report any damage to the Owners.  

·       A drinks fridge is located in the pool house with water, beer and soft drinks available at a charge of €1.00 per item. 

·       There is a strict no smoking policy around the pool area. 

·       Guests use the pool at there own risk and are responsible for the safety of themselves and their children as there is no lifeguard on duty.

Courtyard/Garden

The courtyard and garden areas are for the enjoyment of all guests. Please be considerate to other guests when using these areas.  We ask that football not be played in the garden area.  In the evenings guests are welcome to use the fire pits located in the courtyard, please ask if you would like to do this, so that we may provide you with logs/timber.

The children’s swing and slide area is used at your own risk.  Please supervise all smal children whilst using this equipment.

Please respect our quiet time from 24h00 to 09h00.

Non Resident Visitors

Guests of residents may, with prior agreement of the Owners, use the pool and courtyard area (at their own risk) for a daily charge of €25.00 per person per day.

Dogs

We welcome dogs at Les Coindries and respectfully ask that you adhere to the following: 

·       Dogs must be under strict control at all times while in the property and gardens.

·       Any fouling of lawns etc. must be cleared up without delay and placed in the bin provided.

·       Please bring the dog's bed or basket for sleeping in.

·       We would prefer that you do not leave your dog alone in the property; however, if you do leave your dog for a short period of time, please make sure they are in a secure crate.

·       Do not allow your dog to lie on beds or furnishings. 

·       Please clean up any pet hair before departing;

·       We ask that your pet is free from parasites/fleas before you occupy the property. Failure to do so may incur subsequent charges.

·       Each dog will be charged €30.00 for up to 7 nights, €40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional €10.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

·       Any damage must be reported to the Owners immediately.

Complaints

In the event of any complaint arising, either on arrival or after occupation has commenced, please bring this to the immediate attention of the Owners in order that complaints can be addressed as quickly and effectively as possible. The Owners retain the right to enter the property at any reasonable time to deal with any issues arising and to carry out any repairs deemed necessary to property or equipment.  Any complaint arising after departure must be in writing within 14 days of the departure date.

Cars & Parking

Other than for unloading/loading on arrival and departure, please park your car in the on-site car park that is available for guest use at all times.  All cars parking in the car park do so at their own risk, the Owners take no responsibility for accidents/damage how so ever caused.

General

Whilst every effort will be made to maintain the pool, gardens, properties and household equipment in good order for the enjoyment of guests, we cannot accept liability in the event of any unforeseen circumstances, but ask that guests allow time for these matters to be rectified as soon as possible.
